My Poem On Raksha Bandhan
The Thread That Never Breaks..
We fought for toys, we fought for turns,
For window seats and stolen earns.
Yet in your eyes, I always knew,
No one could guard me like you do.
You teased my tears, you stole my snacks,
But stood like stone when the world attacked.
Through every scar, through every fall,
You were the first to hear my call.
This thread I tie is small and slight,
Yet it holds a bond no blade can bite.
It carries years in a single twist—
The laughs we shared, the moments missed.
When storms would rage, you’d hold my hand,
When I would break, you’d help me stand.
Even in silence, your presence spoke—
A shield of love no fear could poke.
And though the years may pull us wide,
With different roads and changing tides,
One truth remains, no time can shake—
This is a thread that will never break.
“A brother’s promise, a sister’s trust — bound not by thread, but by a lifetime of love.”
